DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS I DVA

WHEN TO SEE AN EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST FOR DVA MEMBER?
At Evinco Health & Performance, we are proud to support veterans through specialised, personalised exercise programs designed to enhance physical and mental wellbeing. If you are part of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), you may be eligible to access Exercise Physiology services at no cost through DVA funding.
Why See an Exercise Physiologist?
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists are trained to support veterans with a range of health concerns:
- Chronic Disease Management
Helping manage conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, arthritis and more with safe, effective movement strategies.
- Injury Rehabilitation
Assisting with post-injury recovery to rebuild strength, mobility and confidence.
- Mental Health Support
Exercise is proven to reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and depression. Our team can guide you through movement that supports mental wellbeing.
- Improved Mobility and Balance
Targeted programs help reduce falls risk and maintain independence through strength and balance training.
- Individualised Care
Every program is tailored to your goals, medical history and lifestyle, ensuring the right approach for you.
How to Access DVA-Funded Services
Veterans may be eligible for fully funded Exercise Physiology sessions through DVA. Here’s what you need:
- DVA Health Card (Gold or White)
- Referral from your GP (on a D904 referral form)
Once referred, we can begin working with you to support your health, function and independence through regular, evidence-based exercise.
